I just bought a piece of yellow cake with chocolate frosting at the Morris St location. While the icing was yummy (homemade??) the yellow cake was more than a bit dry, I think because of the refrigeration and lack of covering most of the day. Sorry, I'm picky about cake.
:) The steamer was good though.
There is always a friendly staff here. :) And I love smelling the freshly ground beans and the bacon and brownies. Much better than the prepackaged stuff the chains carry.
Love, Love (no really) your Ultimate Grilled Cheese. So many friends are hooked after I introduce them. Kinda like giving a kid their first ice cream cone...
The free wifi doesn't hurt either.
I usually visit the Forest Hill location and am rarely disappointed. I find that the milkshakes can be a bit thin, but I prefer them really thick (You-need-a-spoon-to-eat-them-thick, especially on hot summer days when they melt quickly anyway). The folks behind the counter will usually remake them if they can tell I'm disappointed. Now, the BLT, on the other hand - NEVER leaves me frowning! I love the crunchy freshness. Do you use tomatoes and lettuce from your back yard? YUM - every time.
i love the food at the cross roads on morris. i always stop by in between classes. fast and friendly. love it
Always first-rate ! No comparison in the Commonwealth ! Crossroads is simply BEST for coffee, food, friends, and cool-factor ! Don't open up in Manchester. Concentrate on us in Forest Hill (and at Morris) !!!! We love you and will NEVER stop drinking your coffee or craving your company !!!
